Many Mini Modern Blocks: Where to buy the book

Hooray!  My first of Many Mini Modern Blocks (3MB) was posted today.  Just in case I didn’t mention it…you’ll need to buy the book to learn how to put the blocks together.  I will only be providing the reduced size dimensions for each block, because really…who wants to do math that’s not necessary?

I picked up mine at my LQS but you can pick up a copy many places like from the publisher Stash Books, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or even your local library!  So grab a book and get started!  I hope you enjoy the QAL!

Many Mini Moderns Blocks (3MB): Fabric Requirements

Surprise, surprise…a sampler quilt with no clearly defined fabric requirements.  This is an excellent project to dig into your stash.  Here’s the fabric selections I picked out:

Aqua selections: 6 1/2 yard fabric cuts, 5 fat quarters, and a handful of charm squares

Coral selections: 7 1/2 yard cuts, a fistful of charm squares and some leftover binding strips from another project .

Neutral selections: I’ll be using natural linen in most of my blocks and for the sashing, plus I have 4 other 1/2 yard cuts and a couple of neutral charms to throw into the bunch.

Yellow selections: 7 1/2 yard cuts, 5 fat quarters, and of course…a few more charms to boot!

Be sure to post your fabric selections to the Flickr group!  Enjoy!
